Everyone is faced with Stress on a daily basis. Stress
knows no income, intelligence or age level: people form
all levels are effected by stress.

What is Stress? It is a natural reaction to a
perceived threat . It is what helped our ancestors
survive animal attacks long ago. This same body
reaction is set off today when we perceived a
threat even thought it does not involve a life or
death situation.

Stress comes as a positive affect or as a negative
affect. When you are looking forward to doing
something you enjoy , you experience a positive
kind of stress, providing energy that motivates
you into a project; and helping you finish without
any problems or hindrances. You work for hours
and finish up in what seems like a short time but
may actually be hours. You feel great and very
proud of the fine job you did.

Bad stress comes when you dread a project for one
reason or another. Every little problems that can
happen suddenly arises. One hour seems like four,< BR> but at last you finally finish. You feel drained
of energy, glad to have it done.

The main purpose of Stress Managenment is to
maintain a Healthy lifestyle, regardless of who
you are or what you do. There are many general
rules about Stress that can be applied. In order
to successfully apply any Stress rule you need to
know if you need help with Preventing the stress
or you need to get Relief from the stress.

Different things act as Stressors during different
parts
of people's life. During the younger years
the peer pressure is very important and money will
mean less to a person, but to a business person
money may be the main reason for a friendship. In
college brains may be the guiding rule, while in
high school its the looks that count.

In each area discussed, there are specific things
that are stressors to that group. A few suggestions
or tips
are included with each group which also may
apply to other groups having a similar stressors.
